Lincoln Square - Holiday Tree Lighting
Join the Lincoln Square Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce for the official Lincoln Square Tree Lighting!
Kick off the evening in Giddings Plaza with the children of the German School of Chicago as they fill the Square with melodies of the Holiday Season. Light up the tree with 47th Ward Alderman Ameya Pawar and then finish the evening with caroling down Lincoln Avenue.
Be sure to bring out the whole family! See you on December 1st!
HELP SUPPORT THE COMMON PANTRY
Before and after the tree lighting (4pm - 5pm) we will be collecting donations for our local food pantry. If you are able to help this great organization we would appreciate anything you can contribute!
The Common Pantry, Chicago’s oldest operating food pantry, provides emergency food and personal items to over 1,100 individuals each month. We distribute items every Wednesday during the afternoon and evening. As the needs for our services have increased greatly in the last few years, we are very appreciative of donations from our community – any food or personal item donations have a direct impact on the well-being of our neighbors in need.
